Every one of these exports a file in a format the importer reads. Nothing has to be recorded again, and nothing ties you to the brand you happened to buy.

Most Polar models do not expose their files over USB: the operating system claims the device before a browser can see it, so the route that works is exporting from Polar Flow. What a browser can and cannot do with a watch

The route on a map

Your trace, coloured by heart rate, speed, elevation or power, with the elevation profile linked to it: move along the profile and the marker moves along the track.

The calendar of your history

Month, week, day or list. Every session on the day it happened, coloured by sport, one tap away from the session itself.

Training load and form

Load from power when your files carry it, from heart rate when they carry that, and from how hard the session felt when they carry neither - and it always says which one it used.

Records and progression

Your bests over the usual distances and durations, and when each of them happened.

Where it stops

Three things this will not do

It does not give medical or nutrition advice
It describes what your data shows and leaves the decision to you and to whoever advises you. It will not tell you to train or to rest. If a coach or a dietitian sends you a plan through the app, it is their document: the platform carries it, it does not write it and does not endorse it.
It does not fill the gaps with zeros
A file with no altimeter reads "not available in this file", not "0 m climbed". Every field records whether the device measured it, whether this software computed it, or whether nobody knows.
It does not lock you in
Your original files are kept exactly as they arrived, so a better parser can read them again later - and deleting an activity deletes its file with it.

The same session, five hours apart, because the two exports of one Polar watch disagree about what a time means. Read carelessly that is two activities, and the session lands in your history twice. The importer recognises the pair, keeps the file that carries more - the one with the GPS trace - and tells you it replaced the other.

Your data

A GPS trace is a home address

It is where you live, what time you leave and which way you go. That is why this is on the front page instead of in the small print.

  • Files are stored on the server that runs the application, in a folder per account, under a name the server generates - never the name the upload arrived with.
  • Only you, and the staff of the organisation your account belongs to. Athletes never see each other's activities: every query is narrowed to your account before it reaches the database.
  • Deleting an activity deletes the stored file with it. That is deliberate, and there is no undo.

Getting started

Three steps

  1. Create an account

    An email, a name, and a password of at least ten characters.

  2. Export from your app or your watch

    Polar Flow, Garmin Connect, the Strava bulk export, or the folder the watch mounts when you plug it in.

  3. Drop the files in

    One file, many, or a whole ZIP. You get a report per file: what came in, what you already had, and what failed with the reason it failed.
